Shafqat Mehmood

The federal education minister Shafqat Mehmood responds to students demanding online exams. He recently tweeted Some university students want their exams to be online as they were studying online. This is a decision for universities to take but I have asked the HEC to consult with VCs and see if special conditions are possible this year.

Next to this tweet, he said that the Universities should also assess whether they have the technical ability to conduct examinations for ALL students. No one can be left behind. It is also necessary to ensure that the online exam system is not misused for easy grades. Preparing good question papers/ assessment is important.
