Shafqat Mehmood believes the government’s new single national curriculum will improve education standards across the country for students [ISLAMABAD].
At the Dawn News Show ” the minister answered questions about the government’s single national curriculum and how elite classes from better educational facilities compared to Madresua and other students who were not offered the equal opportunity”.
He lamented what American “specific classes,” thought that only Cambridge and Oxford knew what educational standards were and how they could be perfected.

The Ministry of Education said, under the direction of Federal Ministry of Education and Professional Education Shafqat Mehmood, “The New Year will begin in August 2021 due to extended May/June exam dates and extended school closures in Year 2020”.

The ministry said the SNC has been developed in consultation with regional authorities, adding that students in grades 1 through 5 will adhere to it.
The ministry said a letter had been sent to all provincial and district governments regarding the Textbook Policy under the unified curriculum.
