Kashmir Day or Kashmir Solidarity Day (Urdu: یوم یکجہتی کشمیر), is a national holiday in Pakistan on 5 February. It adheres to Pakistan’s support and unity of the people of Kashmir under Indian occupation to end the illegal occupation.

Pakistan today will hold Kashmir Solidarity Day with a new commitment to bring the matter to the spotlight and express the nation’s support for the righteous struggle of the people of Kashmir for inviolable self-determination. [ISLAMABAD]
The events will be held in a novel way, aimed at highlighting the facade behind the so-called emerging Indian democracy in Delhi that demolished Kashmir’s special status on the 5th. August 2019.
Indian forces had released the worst human rights abuses and resultant violence against innocent Kashmiri people, holding about eight million people under military siege.
A minute of silence was observed at 10:00 am across the country. Solidarity walks are being held at Islamabad, Gilgit, Muzaffarabad, and four provincial headquarters.

The Pakistan government has announced a national holiday today (5 Feb, 2021).
‘PM Imran Khan’
In his message, Prime Minister Imran said that Pakistan will not be shaken in solidarity with the people of Kashmir until it realizes its inalienable right to self-determination.
PM stated that resolving the Jammu and Kashmir conflict in accordance with relevant UN Security Council resolutions and the wishes of the Kashmiris was the key to lasting peace in South Asia.
The Prime Minister called for India to have access to international human rights groups and the international media to investigate the serious human rights situation in the occupied territories.
