FM Qureshi has announced a symbolic commitment of 25,000 dollars to the Secretary General’s Peacebuilding Fund.

Foreign Minister Makhdoom Shah Mahmood Qureshi, while talking in a virtual High-Level Replenishment Conference for UN Secretary General’s Peacebuilding Fund, said that the promise underscores Pakistan’s longstanding political, human and monetary obligation to UN’s undertakings in peacekeeping and peace-building.

He additionally reaffirmed Pakistan’s obligation to multilateral collaboration for protecting peace, forestalling struggle and understanding the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Shah Mahmood Qureshi said as a significant troop and police-contributing country, Pakistan invests heavily in its rich UN peacekeeping history.
