CarPlay does a lot to simplify your iOS experience when you’re behind the wheel. With iOS 12, it gets even better with support for third-party navigation apps.
If you’re not a fan of being forced to use Apple Maps in CarPlay, iOS 12 is going to bring support for third-party navigation apps—like Google Maps and Waze.
CarPlay already works with third-party music apps like Spotify, so having access to multiple navigation apps is going to make it even more useful. Very good, Apple. Very good.
